Texture Mania 4 Starts April 1st!!!

No, this ain't no joke! With tomorrow starts the Texture Mania 4 Hunt -- if you've never heard of it, and you're a builder, DO NOT MISS THIS!

This is a GREAT, super-well-organized builders/creator's hunt full of full-perm textures, sculpts, building kits and tutorial kits. Always full of high-quality items from some of the best creators around.

Here's the link to their blog, where you'll find hints, links, and pictures of the gifts that some of the creators have prepared for us. This is one hunt that I ALWAYS make sure I do ALL of, and you should too!

The prize I'm offering for this hunt (whose theme is "Country Pride") is a set of six alpha-layer flowers. In the box I've provided one of these textures applied to a "grass" sculpt prim so you can see how it could look with the appropriate repeats and such applied to the face of the sculpt. These textures could also work wonderfully as a wall decal, appliqué on clothing, or whatever else you can think of!

ALSO on April 1st, I'm holding an APRIL FOOL'S Sale. This will end at the end of day on Sunday, so it's truly just a 24-hour deal. For this sale, I thought I'd mix it up a bit and RANDOMLY mark down all texture packs (except the Limited Edition pack)! They could be down by just 5L, or down by as much as 75%. Limited Edition Textures are Ready!

Ok, so I've been working on these for a while now and have kept promising my VIPs that they would be coming out soon ... so here they are!

Please welcome the Limited Edition Spring Windows Textures! I'm really excited to offer these out there. This is a set of 24 alpha-layer decorative window textures. The pack contains a "Clean" and "Distressed" version of each design. ONLY 35 OF THESE PACKS WILL BE SOLD, and you must be a member of the VIP group in order to purchase!

Why a Limited Edition set? Well, mainly, I wanted to be able to offer a very exclusive set of textures so those who want to keep their builds as "one-of-a-kind" as possible, could do so!

I'm really quite pleased with these textures -- they can be used as wall art, or to decorate a whimsical house, cottage, shack or whatever else you decide to build that could use a touch of springy whimsy.

Well, RL kicking my butt and not giving me a lot of time to concentrate is continuing! Add to that the fact that the mall owners in which my Main Store is located got booted from their sim, and well ... stress!

I've quickly set things back up in the new location, and in hopes of all of us getting a little bit o' luck ... I've set up a "Luck O' The Irish" sale -- EVERYTHING in the store is set at 33L or less! Why 33L? Because it's my lucky number, hehehehe!

Hunt with a message!

Hey all! I've fallen behind a bit with my postings, I realize, and apologize! Got a decent little case of cold/laryngitis in RL which has sapped a lot of my energy, so have fallen behind on the things I usually do ... though I *have* tried to keep up with some of it.

Anyway, wanted to be sure to put it out there that a WONDERFUL hunt with more than just free prizes as its goal. It's called "Take Back The Night" and involves many great designers -- from clothing designers to texture creators and more. You're looking for a moon hidden in the store, and along with the prize, you receive a note card with some educational information on a mental illness. Each card is meant to educate participants on a mental illness.

Much more than that, here's the hunt's blog site that offers education and support information for those who suffer from mental illness, and for family members and friends of those afflicted: Skittles In The Pit.

As part of this awareness-raising event, and as a way to offer awareness of support available, every weekend during the month of march, this wonderful group will be putting together a t-shirt making event, in which participants will make their own SL t-shirts. I've donated a set of tie-dye fabric textures that participants can use for this event, and it is available in the main store right now. It is set to give to members of the Take Back The Night Hunt, so be sure you've joined the group and are wearing the tag!
