The Haunting Continues!

For all of you builders feverishly preparing your Halloween pieces, I've got another new release for you!

This week, I've put up in the Main Store a pack of 10 alpha-layer scary textures great for all your haunting needs. This pack includes male, female, adult and child ghosts, a screaming face, spooky mask/face, and two cob webs. Each of these are great used full bright and slightly glowing (I've found that setting glow at 0.02 really looks neat, but you can play around with it to get the perfect effect for yourself!).

Also to help you with Halloween building, remember that the cart sale at The Wash is still ongoing. Hurry, though, as this event ends in five short days! I've got my eight full packs of Halloween textures (which I had put away at the end of the season last year) available for 10L a set. If you missed my posting about this last time, check out the last blog entry to see what sets are there!

Back in the Main Store, VIP Group members will find the full pack of this set in the Midnight Mania board set at the incredibly low target of just 10 hits! Also just for VIPs is the Blooming Blossoms full texture set marked down to 50% off. There is a 100L fee to join, but you'll find that you make that fee up in no time if you take advantage of the sales and MM board!

Because I've decided to take down my non-group Midnight Mania boards, I've decided to instead offer the Pay What You Think vendors as options for those shoppers who need textures, but may be on a limited budget. Currently in the Main Store, I've got the half pack (the former MM pack) of the Caverns II textures. If you've missed the description of this pack in the past, it's the half-pack of the full set of dark, spooky-colored cave textures great for making, say, a haunted grotto. The pack includes seamless and regular 512x512 textures created from real photos that I took from a real cavern that I visited with my family this summer.

TOMORROW starts a new full-perm hunt called Too Cute To Be True. For this hunt you'll be looking for a pink and white candy-striped sculpty heart, in which you'll find some awesome FP prizes for just 2L each! My gift is called Love and Kisses, and is a set of 10 pastel-colored patterned fabric. The set patterned with the word "L'amour ('Love' in French)" is seamless, the other (patterned with cute lips) is not. This hunt runs starting from tomorrow until September 30th, so stop on down to grab the prize!
