Two sets released for you this weekend, and they are both making appearances in two different locations.
Let's start with what the releases are! Both sets are "Cafe Walls Kits" in two separate color sets.

The set in "Cinnamon" has been released in the main store location and is available at the introductory price of just 75L as part of the Builder's Bargains sales hop, which lasts until end of day Sunday. This is a set of 10 wall textures great for any coffee-shop or kitchen/nook area in a home to which you want to give that cozy, coffee-shop feel. Spring Is In The Air!

At least that's what I hear ... not that I see much sign of it where I live, hehe.

Well with today starts the Hello Spring full-perm 2L hunt, and I've got a prize in it, of course! It's a set of 10 seamless wall textures, this time with moulding. The painted wall part uses the stucco texture as its base, but it's been decorated with a delicate flower overlay for a cute, pretty spring texture.

This week's release is with summer in mind! While it is cold and slushy where I live, I know that most of you are busy planning your summer builds at this time. So, with that in mind, this week I'm releasing my new set of fabric textures in all sorts of delicious, summery shades.

And now for something completely different ...

OK, so I've been away for a bit! Now I'm back, and I've got some changes that I'll be slowly stirring into the mix.

First, let me start with what will be coming up this week! On Thursday, I'll be participating in the Builder's Bargains sale for the first time in a bit. For it, I've created a brand new set of textures that I'm excited to share with you called "Ugly Couch." Seriously, it's a texture created with my old ugly RL couch in mind bahaha!  The base texture is shots of the worn-down velour/textile texture from my actual couch, enhanced for use in SL and colorized. The set includes shaded and plain versions of each color.

For BB it'll be on sale for 150L starting on Thursday and ending Sunday. After that, the cost will go up to 300L.

And with that introduction, I wanted to let my loyal customers know that there are some pricing and branding changes coming up on the horizon.

In more than one instance, I've been informed by some of my respected colleagues that my pricing is 'too low,' and in fact, I've been passed up on some opportunities because of it. So, in order bring my textures up to fair market value, my textures will go from the stupid-low price of 5L per texture (omg what was I thinking?) to a more sane 15L per texture.

For those of my supporters who depended upon my lower prices, please don't fear: I will still be participating in the occasional hunt, and if you join my VIP group, you will have the occasional full-pack in the VIP Midnight Mania board that you can count on (which, if they don't get locked down, I offer for a temporary 50% off discount to VIPs only).

Also, I'll be taking part in Builder's Bargains, where you'll find my newly released full packs on sale for 50% off the regular price.

On the heels of this price change will be a name-change and new look for my texture shop. This last bit may take a while as I am a) slow and b) picky ... So stay tuned!

Frosty New Releases

Have a couple of fresh new releases, as well as some great deals to tell you all about this weekend. The Haunting Continues!

For all of you builders feverishly preparing your Halloween pieces, I've got another new release for you!

This week, I've put up in the Main Store a pack of 10 alpha-layer scary textures great for all your haunting needs. This pack includes male, female, adult and child ghosts, a screaming face, spooky mask/face, and two cob webs. Each of these are great used full bright and slightly glowing (I've found that setting glow at 0.02 really looks neat, but you can play around with it to get the perfect effect for yourself!).

Also to help you with Halloween building, remember that the cart sale at The Wash is still ongoing. Hurry, though, as this event ends in five short days! I've got my eight full packs of Halloween textures (which I had put away at the end of the season last year) available for 10L a set. If you missed my posting about this last time, check out the last blog entry to see what sets are there!

Back in the Main Store, VIP Group members will find the full pack of this set in the Midnight Mania board set at the incredibly low target of just 10 hits! If you've missed the description of this pack in the past, it's the half-pack of the full set of dark, spooky-colored cave textures great for making, say, a haunted grotto. The pack includes seamless and regular 512x512 textures created from real photos that I took from a real cavern that I visited with my family this summer.

TOMORROW starts a new full-perm hunt called Too Cute To Be True. For this hunt you'll be looking for a pink and white candy-striped sculpty heart, in which you'll find some awesome FP prizes for just 2L each! My gift is called Love and Kisses, and is a set of 10 pastel-colored patterned fabric. Hanging Out at The Wash!

Finally getting some textures out there for you, and also have my fall-themed sets out for you at The Wash, which starts on August 15th! I played around with the Cavern I textures from a few weeks back, and jazzed them up for you in time for your Halloween builds! Nope, not too early to think about fall, truly!

So, today, I'm releasing my Cavern II textures. There are 20 spooky cave ceiling, floor and wall textures. They've been manipulated for maximum fright -- shiny bloody colors right down to cool, spooky, cemetery blue and green colors. All of them have been darkened for maximum effect in your dark builds. You can get them now at my Main Store location.

On the weekend, the half pack will be up on the Midnight Mania board with a target of 75, and the full pack will be on the VIP's Midnight Mania board!

For those who are new to The Wash, you must check it out. There are over 80 carts set out around the sim loaded with some of SL's best designer's wares -- nothing is over 10L. New Release in Builder's Bargains Sale!

It hasn't officially begun yet as of this writing, but my new release for this week is my contribution to the Builder's Bargains sale! If you've never checked it out, be sure to do so! In a few hours, the new list should be released, so you'll be able to see all the other amazing builder-friendly items that are on sale!

This texture pack is a set of 28 from real-life photos that I took myself while on a trip with my family to Howe Caverns in Upstate New York. I've optimized the textures for contrast and color, included light and dark versions of most textures, and made 13 of them seamless as well! There are textures which would be perfect for ceilings, walls, floors, and in a couple of cases, for both walls and ceilings. Some of the seamless ones would also make beautiful floor decorations when you increase the texture repeats on a face.

From today until end of day Sunday only, I'll have this texture set available for just 70L in the Main Store location only. After that, it will go up to its usual asking price, 140L.

Also, because RL has been so hectic, I've still got the store-wide 33L Grand Opening sale going on. Be sure to stop on down. New Main Store = Mini Hunt and Sale!

Have some exciting developments under way both for \\CHIPAHOLIC// Main Store and for Builder's Bargains headquarters, and really excited to share this new move with you by kicking it off with an in-store hunt and storewide sale!
